THINPHONE is email to telephones
Enter
your 10 digit phone number for a demo (no spaces or dashes)
@Thinphone.com
So, what can you do with it?
- Exchange information without
getting into a long conversation.
- Have email with your grandparents
who don't have email.
- Exchange information through
the telephone, while dialed-in.
- Listen to MP3 Files
on your phone.
- Communicate with cellphones
from your pager or PDA.
- Just like you can send
email to a group of people, now you can send phone messages to
a group of people.
First THINMAIL
let you send and receive files on a wireless devices, and then
THINFAX let you email files or our links to
a fax machine, now THINPHONE lets you email messages, and forward
files or our links to a telephone! Say you are in an interminable
meeting and can't make a phone call. Send a page:
To: Phone@Thinmail.com

Honey,
This stupid
meeting is running over. Please start dinner without me.
Within a minute, the telephone
rings and a very human-like voice starts reading your message.
The receiver can interrupt or replay the message and can record
a response to the message, which you get back as a WAV file (a
thinmail link) you can even forward to your own telephone:
To: Myphone<8001234567@Thinmail.com>
Subject: Voice Reply
----
You have a voice reply from 8005551212:
http://www.thinmail.com/.../reply-8005551212.wav
Then your phone rings and you
get your spouse's angry response.
Every telephone becomes just
another email address to a Thinmail member. You can combine the
Number and "@Thinphone.com" into a single email address:
XXXXXXXXXX@Thinphone.com, replacing the X's with the 10
digits of a phone number:
To: 8005551212@Thinphone.com,
8005551313@thinphone.com, 8005551313@thinphone.com

I am letting you know that we cancelled the meeting at the last
